APRN-owned rural health clinic adds Mobile Health Service Unit


Mobile Health Unit now active in Estill County


“Our purpose in partnering with OnRequest, LLC is to provide health services to our rural community,” said Donna Isfort, Nurse Practitioner, and owner of Estill Medical Clinic. “This partnership represents our commitment to provide access to quality health care for all of our friends and neighbors in Estill County.”


Estill Medical Clinic has partnered with OnRequest, LLC to provide a mobile clinic health services unit to increase access to quality health services for the Estill County community. In addition to primary care, the unit will focus on Covid 19 health services and opioid use reduction services.


The mobile unit will be stationed at several locations throughout the county to provide various medical services including primary care, Covid 19 vaccine administration, Covid 19 testing and home test kits and N95 masks. In addition, the unit will have Peer Support Specialist services and will distribute Naloxone kits to families and others who may encounter those suffering opioid addiction.

The mobile clinic made its debut back in August at the Back to School Engineer Picnic at West Irvine Elementary School. The mobile clinic and health services unit has been stationed throughout various areas of the county on Tuesdays to bring quality health care to those that may have difficulty getting to the office. Estill Medical Clinic recently received the new Covid 19 booster vaccine and will be offering it at both the office and mobile unit.


Estill Medical Clinic, PSC is a Rural Health Clinic located in Irvine Kentucky. Estill Medical Clinic, PSC has been serving the area since 1967. Started by Dr. Virginia Wallace and Dr. Charles Terry, the Clinic has been providing primary care to the citizens for 55 years. Owned by Donna Isfort APRN since 2011, the Clinic is a busy multiple provider primary care clinic seeing patients from newborn through the life span.


The Estill Medical Clinic Mobile Clinic Health Services Unit provides a full array of services including Covid 19 vaccine, boosters and Covid test kits.
